    Intro to iTunes

    Part 1

Hi and welcome to a very short course on how to podcast on the Mac. In this 3 part introduction we tell you all about how to use iTunes to download your very first podcast and use Keynote to create your very own podcast. In this part we will take a look at iTunes and downloading.

    Part 2

In this section we will take a look at where the podcasts are stored in iTunes and while we are there we will take a look at the new iTunes U store too.

    Part 3

Let's take a look at creating our own basic Podcast. In this part we are going to start from the very beginning. Having now had the opportunity to download podcasts from the iTunes store, you will have by now realised that podcast can come in all shapes and sizes. They can be audio, video or images combined with audio. As part of our first podcast we are going to use content that we may have already on your computer. In this case we are going to convert a Powerpoint file to a podcast. When you think about it its the perfect project to begin with. A PowePoint file is basically just images and text. Through the power of the mac and using an application called Keynote we are going to convert our powerpoint files by adding our very own voice over to the slides and then save it as a podcast.
